“Utana Atsadi” Maui Monkey Pod; Cherokee made

Utana Atsadi (Whale) Hand sculptured Monkey Pod wood collected at Turnbull Studio and Gallery, Maui. The folks at Turnbull were nice enough to give a fellow artist a piece of leftover wood from one of their larger sculptures. Monkey pod wood is highly desirable and expensive wood. The color of the art is natural and is sealed with tung oil. The base is granite, with amazonite (green feldspar). I collected the base stone in Manitou Springs, CO. The art displays beautifully on all sides, making it wonderful center piece. Signed with my hallmark. Whale is 7 x 7 x 2.5″ without base.
